The following steps show how to setup a measurement project automatically by using the automated workflow or Wizard Project. First press on the Project Wizard tool:

The following steps show how to setup a measurement project automatically by using the automated workflow or Wizard Project.

Step 1. Fill in the project description fields relevant to your project and press Next:
Project Name The name of the project file
Processed by The person who processes this project
Place Place of the image capture
Project path The path name where the project file will be saved in
Date Date of image capture or the project file creation

Step 1. Fill in the project description fields relevant to your project and press Next

Step 2. Add the path/folder containing the images.

Step 2. Add the path/folder containing the images.

Step 3. Select images that you would like to be processed in the project.

Step 3. Select images that you would like to be processed in the project.

Step 4. Add the camera calibratin data (See page Frame Array Camera Calibration), if it is availbale.

Step 4. Add the camera calibratin data (See page Frame Array Camera Calibration), if it is availbale.

Step 5. Add the scale information to the project.
Add scale by coded target If the measurement project has a coded target, this option uses the size of coded taret to scale the measurement project.

With this option only round shape taregts (coded targets) are detected and used for image orientation.

Add scale by using GPS meta-data If the meta-data of the images has GPS information (which shows the location of image capture), these information are used for scaling the 3D measurement project. With this option only natural features (key points) are detected and used for image orientation.
Add scale later In case, you do not use the above options to add scale information choose this option. If this option is chosen the 3D measuremment project will not have a correct scale.

With this option only natural features (key points) are detected and used for image orientation.

Step 5. Add the scale information to the project.
Step 6. In the last step the point cloud computation will only be performed if the scale information has been provided in the previous step.
Step 6. In the last step the point cloud computation will only be performed if the scale information has been provided in the previous step.

After pressing “Finish”, the FOVEX project which includes the images is created. In continuation, the images are automatically oriented. The following figure shows the Main Window after Project Wizard:

If at Step 6, Point Cloud generation is chosen a folder with the name of “Point Cloud” in the same folder of the project file (.pcrx) will be created which contains the generated point cloud. The following is the generated point cloud:
