Properties of the Project Explorer

Properties of the Project Explorer

Property Value Report View shows the following information after left mouse click on the Property Description
Solution Name of the solution the table of projects A Solution contains many projects. The projects of a Solution are listed here.
Project Name of project (without *.pcrx) the table of cameras All essential information of the project is listed under the tree of the project.
Settings --- the setting of the project By clicking on Settings, the project settings can be accessed in Report View.
Frame Array Camera --- the table of the cameras The cameras of the project are listed under Frame Array Camera
# Sensor Name of the camera the table of images Parameters and images of this camera are listed under #Sensor
Settings --- the camera parameters By clicking on Settings, camera parameter setting can be accessed in Report View.
Images number of oriented image / total number of images the table of images The images of the project are listed under its tree.
# image file name Shows an icon if the image file exists or not the table of image points The image and exif information data under it. By double click on the image, it will be opened in Image View for viewing.
Exif Info --- Exif information Exif information can be accessed in Report View.
Object Space --- --- Object space properties are under this tree.
Network Points --- the table of image points and their 3D coordinates
CAD Objects --- the table of CAD shapes CAD objects data
Scale Bars --- the table of scale-bars Scale bars data
Control Points --- Reference points can be listed under its tree.
# Reference Set --- The table of control points the control point data
Point Cloud --- the table of point cloud data The list of point cloud are shown under this tree
# point cloud file name Check box: show/hide the display of point cloud at Network View --- The point cloud with *.ply format
Bundle Reports --- --- Bundle adjustment results are reported here
Statistics --- a text report including statistical information about network and qualification check parameters The general report
Ext. Orientation --- a text report of exterior orientation parameters of the processed images The report of exterior orientation computation
Short report --- a text short report (combination of Statistics and 3D Coordinates) The short report
3D Coordinates --- a text report of the 3D points in the network The report of 3D coordinates computation

Context Menus

The Project Explorer context menus are accessed by right-click on the Project Explorer property. The context menus of the project explorer are as follow:

Solution

Solution

  • Close Solution... unload the solution and close it.
  • Save Solution … Saves the solution
  • Save Solution as … Save the solution to a new file name.
  • Add New Project… Adds a new project to the solution
  • Add Existing Project… Add an existing project to the project
  • Link Individual Project(s)… if the Solution does not find the project file, this item corrects the project file path
  • Link Project Folder… if the Solution does not find the project file, this item corrects the project file path by providing the path of the folder of containing the project.

  • Unload/Reload Project... closes the project (or reloads the project)
  • Save Project …Save the Project
  • Save Project as …Save the project to a new file name
  • Delete from Solution….Delete the project from Solution.

  • Add Camera adds a camera to the current project.

# Sensor

  • Inactivate/Activate… Inactivate/Activate the selected sensor.
  • Delete Sensor … deletes the current Sensor#.
  • Import > Parameters imports camera parameters of the current Sensor# from a file.
  • Import > Image Points imports image point coordinates of the images of the current Sensor# from a file.
  • Import > Exterior Orientation Parameters imports exterior orientation parameters of the images of the current Sensor# from a file.
  • Export > Parameters exports camera parameters of the current Sensor# to a file.
  • Export > Image Points exports image point coordinates of the images of the current Sensor# to a file.
  • Export > Exterior Orientation Parameters exports exterior orientation parameters of the images of the current Sensor# to a file.
Images

Images

  • Add Image(s) > Add Image(s)… opens a dialog box to choose images and adds the chosen image to the current #Sensor.
  • Add Image(s) > Add Image Folder … opens a dialog box to choose the folder of containing the images.
  • Link Image(s) > Link Image(s)… if the image files cannot be found, Link Image(s) opens a dialog box to choose the images and corrects the pathname.
  • Link Image(s) > Link Image Folder … if the image files cannot be found, Link Image Folder opens a dialog box to choose the folder of the images and correct the pathname.
  • Reset Exterior Orientation Parameters… Set the value of exterior orientation of all image under this #Sensor to “0” and turns them to non-oriented images.
  • Open All Images opens all images under the current Sensor# in Image Viewer.

  • Inactive/Active …toggles inactive/active the current image for the measurement and further processing.
  • Reset Exterior Orientation Parameters … resets the value of the exterior orientation parameters of the Image to zero. The decoration symbol of the Image becomes red color after this action and this image is considered as non-oriented image.
  • Align Coordinate Axes to This Image … aligns the axes of 3D coordinate system of the project to the coordinate axes of this image.
  • Delete … deletes the image from the project.

  • Export > XYZ … exports in a file the coordinates (X,Y,Z) of the 3D Network.
  • Export > IXYZ … exports in a file the ID/Label and the coordinates (X,Y,Z) of the 3D Network.

  • Import Scale Bar Parameters ... imports from a file the scale bars data to the Project.
  • Export Scale Bar Parameters ... exports to a file the scale bars data.
Control Points

Control Points

  • Add Reference Set ... Add an item under Control Points to import/add control point data.

  • Import … imports the control/check points from a file.
  • Delete … deletes the currently selected reference points.
  • Set Driver … sets the currently selected Reference Set as the reference coordinate system and transform the Network Coordinate System to this coordinate system. The decoration icon will become green after 3D transformation.
Point clouds

Point clouds

  • Add an Existing Point Cloud … Add the previously computed point cloud in the project.
  • Link to File … If the file of the listed point cloud does not find exist, this operation opens a dialog box to choose the point cloud and update the pathname of the point cloud in the project.

  • Save … saves the point cloud in the file.
  • Save as … saves the point cloud to a new file.
  • Delete Selected Item … deletes the selected sensor from Project.
  • Difference to …. Computes the difference of two point clouds.
  • Noise Reduction … Perform the noise reduction.
  • Outliers Removal … Perform the outliers detection.
  • Triangulation … Perform the meshing by triangulation.
