Introduction

This section describes the setting parameters for panorama production. The following figure shows the Settings Tab:

Panorama Size

Parameter of Description
Factor The factor of image resolution reduction. For example, 100 means full resolution, 50 means half of the resolution. It should be noted that the image dimensions are rounded to the nearest multiple of 32 because of speed and compatibility.


Blending

Parameter of Description
Levels The level of multi-band blending. The higher value, the better blending results. However, the higher values may have side effect and create dark/bright region at highlights/shadows.
De-ghosting If selected, the ghost removal will be performed.

Image Export

Parameter of Description
Panorama per exposure If selected, the panorama image of each individual bracket/exposure will be created. This is only applicable when images have been taken in HDR mode with at least 2 brackets (or exposures).
Note: The tone-mapped (8-bit) image of the HDR (32-bit) image will be created automatically.
JPEG (*.jpg) If selected, panorama image will be saved in JPEG format.
HDR (*.hdr) If selected, the panorama image will be saved in HDR 32-bit format. *.hdr format can be opened and viewed by Adobe Photoshop.
PhotoCore Raw (*.pci) If selected, the panorama image will be save in PCI format. PCI is the proprietary image file format of PhotoCore.
Note: : If you intend to process the panorama images with FOVEX 360s for a point cloud production, you must choose this option.
JPEG Quality The JPEG compression level is defined here. 100 is the best quality with the maximal file size. The lower value, the lower image quality and the smaller file size.
